Shauna Leonard is a board certified Physician Assistant who loves the art and science of aesthetics, wellness and regenerative medicine. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Master’s of Public Health, and Physician Assistant certification all from the University of Utah. She worked in the cardiovascular surgery and cardiology specialties for 20 years before transitioning to the specialty of aesthetic medicine and wellness. One of her strengths is her understanding of anatomy and physiology. That understanding combined with her aesthetic eye and attention to detail come together brilliantly as she provides skilled administration of botox, injectable fillers, biostimulators, PRP, PDO threads, and energy based procedures to create beautiful and natural results for her patients, all with patient safety at the forefront.
Shauna also provides bioidentical hormone replacement and integrative wellness therapy to help patients individually balance their hormones and optimize blood levels. Both are crucial to keeping our bodies healthy and fit as we age as well as decreasing the risk of osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease (to name a few). Proper hormone therapy also helps tremendously with symptoms of menopause, and can help with anxiety/depression, skin/tissue health, build muscle mass, improve energy, mental clarity and overall wellness.
She continues to regularly attend conferences and educational opportunities to keep current with the latest evidence based training and treat patients with the highest standard of care.
All of the treatments she provides are part of her bio-regenerative, holistic approach to rejuvenation and optimal wellness. She loves caring for the whole person using integrative medicine and regenerative aesthetic therapies when designing treatment plans with each individual patient to reach their goals and obtain a sense of well being so they enjoy the best quality of life possible.
