Please keep checking your retreat homepage for updates. You will also receive emails from us beginning one month prior to your scheduled retreat. If you have not received an email from us and it is less than one month from your retreat date, please check your spam folder and then contact us at retreats@
How do I register for a retreat?
Retreat registration is available on a first come, first served basis through the Image Reborn website and is available to any woman that has been diagnosed with breast cancer at any time. Space is limited, so a completely refundable deposit is required to hold your space and secure meals, spa treatments, etc. To register, please click on the date of the retreat you wish to attend, fill out and submit the registration form. You should immediately receive a confirmation email from us. If you do not receive an email, please check your spam folder and add us to your contacts to ensure you continue to receive all email updates.
What if the retreat is full?
You may opt to join the retreat waiting list by selecting the “waitlist” option during registration. Each retreat has several waitlist openings and you will be notified if a registration spot opens. Alternatively, we ask that you cancel your waitlist position if you determine that the retreat will no longer work for you so that others may join the limited waitlist for that retreat.
Can I register for a retreat if I am on the waitlist for another retreat?
Yes. You can register for a retreat AND be on the waitlist for another retreat. We will contact you if a spot becomes available in the retreat in which you are waitlisted. Should you accept the open spot, you will be asked to cancel your spot in the confirmed retreat.
What time does the retreat start and when does it end?
Our retreats typically begin on a Friday around 5pm. If you need to be a little late, no problem! Just give us a heads up so we don’t worry about you. We typically wrap up the weekend on Sunday around noon. Be sure to check the agenda on your retreat homepage for specific details.
If you are traveling in from out of state, please plan your flight into Salt Lake City airport between 3-4 PM if possible. This is the time we coordinate a driver to pick you and any other out of town guests up from the airport. You will be returned to the SLC airport on Sunday at 1:00 PM. Please schedule your outgoing flight accordingly.
Where do these retreats take place?
Usually in Park City, but we have been known to spice it up from time to time in one of the other beautiful mountainous regions in the Wasatch. Short answer: usually in the mountains within an hour drive from Salt Lake City.
Our adventure retreats take place in southern Utah and do not have close proximity to major airports. Because of the more remote location, we will not be able to offer travel grants so please keep this in mind as you make your travel arrangements.
We also will host one retreat in Dillon, CO in 2019. While this retreat is open for anyone, we created it with the intent of inspiring local participation. Be aware there will be no travel grants or airport services provided for this retreat.
How many women come to each retreat?
Typically, 6-8 guests can be accommodated at one time. However, we do occasionally have access to accommodations that allow for more guests in which case we limit registration to 12-15.
Who is eligible to attend?
Any woman who has ever been diagnosed with breast cancer.
What kinds of activities are provided?
It varies from retreat to retreat, but your retreat might include any of these activities: yoga, acupuncture, facials, massage, meditation, art activities, medical Q&A, and more. We also try to include free time in the agenda to allow for personal conversations, hot tub time (if available), nature walks, rest, etc. Check the agenda on your retreat homepage frequently for updates and additional details.
What do I need to bring with me?
Our weekends are very informal. We recommend bringing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. Refer to the agenda on your retreat homepage to see if dining out at a restaurant is on the itinerary so you can choose to dress up if you’d like. Also, we do take professional photos at the end of the weekend so if you have something special you would like to wear, we encourage you to do so! All food, snacks, and beverages are provided – check the menu on your homepage for details. Additionally, a detailed packing list is posted on your retreat homepage.
I want to attend, but don’t have the financial means to travel from out of state. What are my resources?
We can help! Visit our travel grant application page on our website, apply for a travel grant and we will do our best to help you with airfare costs. Please note that it typically takes 4-8 weeks to process scholarship applications and notify recipients. We are only able to award airfare to one recipient per retreat.
I am traveling from out of state. What do I need to know about booking my flight?

When is a good time in my treatment to attend?
That is a decision best made with guidance from your doctor to see if he/she recommends travel and also to coordinate with your treatment schedule. We want you to be able to enjoy all of the activities available to you, so it is best to plan to come on a weekend when you anticipate you will be feeling well – not in pain from recent surgery or trying to manage treatment side effects. We find that most women are ready for a retreat weekend about a year after diagnosis.
Why do you charge for a deposit and when will I get it refunded?
Retreat space is very limited so a $100 deposit is required to hold your space and secure meals, spa treatments, etc. Full refund of your deposit will be issued immediately following your retreat.
What is the cancellation policy?
Due to the high demand and long waitlist for our no-cost renewal retreats, we require a $100 deposit to hold your spot. This deposit is completely refunded following your retreat.
There are some instances when your deposit may not be refundable. Please read the following guidelines carefully:
- If you must cancel for any reason up to 2 weeks (14 days) before your retreat start date, your deposit will be refunded 100%
- If you must cancel for medical reasons up to 1 week (7 days) prior to your retreat start date, your deposit will be refunded 100%. For any other reason, 50% is reimbursed to you.
- Within one week (7 days) of your retreat, your deposit is no longer refundable with the exception of emergency situations.
